火山石对破碎化珊瑚礁的修复效果研究

摘要 珊瑚礁生态系统的结构具有复杂、脆弱的特点,一旦破坏则需要很长一段时间才能恢复。礁盘破碎化是珊瑚礁最为恶劣的底质类型,在不采取人为改善的情况下难以自然恢复。为修复蜈支洲岛北侧礁盘破碎化生境,2017年8月在实验区域投放8吨火山石对破碎化礁盘进行固定,共修复232.7 m2,修复成本为2.5万美元·hm-2。2a后,实验区域珊瑚幼体补充量为7.5个·m-2,大型底栖生物密度(海星、海胆、海百合)为3.4个·m-2,鱼类数量为120.7尾·100-1·m-2。对照区域珊瑚幼体补充量为0.27个·m-2,大型底栖生物密度为0.37个·m-2,鱼类数量为51.3尾·100-1·m-2。由此可见,火山石可以稳固破碎化底质,对促进珊瑚幼体附着、吸引大型底栖生物和鱼类聚集有显著效果,能有效的促进礁盘破碎化珊瑚礁生态系统的恢复。 The structure of coral reef ecosystems is complex and fragile.once destroyed,it takes a long time to recover.The damaged coral reef is the most severe type of coral reef,and it is difficult to recover naturally without artificial improvement.Therefore,it is necessary to promote the restoration of coral reef by human intervention.In August 2017,to promote the restoration of damaged coral reef ecosystems,we used the 8 tons basalt to fix the unstable rubble fields.We have restored 232.72 m2 and the cost is about$25,000·hm-2.Two years later,the mean values were 7.5 m-2 for juvenile coral recruitment in were 3.4 m2 for the density of large benthic organisms(starfishes,urchins,crinoids),and were 120.7 ind·100-1·m-2 for the density of fish inthe experimental site.However,they were significantly lower in the control site for juvenile coral recruitment(0.27 m-2),the density of large benthic organisms(0.37 m-2),and the density of fish was(51.3 ind·100-1·m-2).It can be seen that basalt can stabilize the reef has a significant effect on promoting the attachment of coral larvae and attracting large benthonic organisms and fish aggregation.It can effectively promote the restoration of damaged coral reef ecosystem.
