信息技术教师缘何离职:基于个案的叙事探究

摘要 我国信息技术教师的生存状况一直以来没有获得足够的关注,他们时常游走在坚持与放弃的两难境地。本文首先呈现了一位有着丰富教学经验的信息技术教师的离职故事,接着运用社会学经典的理性选择理论来考察信息技术教师流失的过程和原因,揭示他们在进与退的两难困境中艰难抉择的根源。研究发现,信息技术教师的离职行为符合基本的理性选择理论的原理,他们以利益或报酬为中心,结合自身资源的可控性和社会规范的约束,在效用最大化原则的指引下做出合乎个体利益的理性选择。同时我们也看到,个人价值观和教学理想贯穿了信息技术教师的群体故事,它们超越了理性选择理论的框架,成为影响他们选择和行为更重要的因素。 The survival conditions of information technology(IT)teachers in China have not received enough attention.They often wander in the dilemma of persistence and giving up.This article first presents the resignation story of an IT teacher with rich teaching experience,and then uses the classic rational choice theory of sociology to examine the process and reasons for the resignation of IT teachers,revealing the root of their difficult choices in the dilemma of advance and retreat.The study found that the resignation behavior of IT teachers conforms to the basic principles of rational choice theory.They give priority to benefits or rewards,take into consideration both the controllability of their own resources and the constraints of social norms,and make rational choices in line with individual interests under the guidance of the principle of maximum utility.At the same time,it’s also been found that personal values and teaching dreams run through the stories of IT teachers,which transcend the framework of the theory of rational behavior and become more important factors affecting their choices and behaviors.
